Even after the highest priorities of food safety and quality are met, there remains municipal zoning and site plan approval, building codes and third party auditing standards. For example, extensive landscaping required by the site plan process needs to be tempered to eliminate pest harbourage risk in food safety. Building code conflicts frequently arise in Raw and RTE plants that require resolution. While each type of facility has its own unique characteristics, they still share many critical design elements. Foodcon is well aware of the many issues and has always developed creative solutions to satisfy all interests.
