Foodcon is a design and construction firm, serving the food processing industry.
The company’s first project, in 1975, was the design and construction of a provincially inspected poultry slaughter plant. Before that project was even completed, Foodcon was selected to undertake renovations to a federally inspected mechanically separated meat plant. The relationship with both clients grew and many additions, renovations, and new plants were completed for these companies and their successors. As time moved on, Foodcon expanded into other types of food facilities including meat further processing (raw and RTE), bakery, tofu, vegetables, ingredients, desserts, and gluten-free.
As a boutique firm, Foodcon has served the same companies for many years across Canada.
Incorporated in 1975, with the original founder still as principal. Each senior staff member has no less than 15 years of experience.
Foodcon's reach has extended to processing plants across Canada and the United States.
Working with processing plants that work Raw and RTE meats, entrees, baked goods, vegetables, tofu, snack foods and more.
